Happy Hedgehogs!

The rain/snow/slushy is making it a terribly nasty day after such a beautiful weekend. Hope everyone is having a great day!  Some comfort foods for today, a barbeque chicken steamed bun, tamagyaki, kiwi slices and a edamame, broccoli, and grape tomato salad. It has itailen herbs sea salt and a little garlic tossed with olive oil. Its simply but yummy. Have a great afternoon everyone!

@Susan: Thanks Susan! He gave me a grin peeking up at me when I opened him up for lunch haha.
@Sheri: Thanks! I actually just kind of pinch and pull the dough up to get the spikes. Its like working with play dough.

  7. Such a cute hedgehog! Wow, and it is homemade! Great idea for a salad, too! I'll try on my daughter's obento. She loves those three ingredients!

  9. That is such a cute little hedgehog!! How did you get the nori eyes to stick? Is the bread just very moist? Also are there any vegetarian options for fillings in the bun? I'd so love to try them.

@Aki: The salad was super yummy! It was definitly the boost I needed in my day.
@BentoBird:Thank you, your comments are always so nice! Hope you have a warmer weekend then we have!
@Emily: I really think you could put anything in there you wanted. I've done spinach, chicken and cheese, chicken and broccoli, I think you could reeplace the meat with tofu or even just leave it out if you wanted! These things have a huge potential.
